Phase 1.1

Tut. Tut.

Haley quickly flips open her mobile phone and read the short text.

"Good luck my dear !  We are really proud of u !"

Haley flips her phone and chuckles.  'We' huh ? That's new.

“ We have arrived, miss. ” 


Haley who is wondering the day away startles.  She turns her head around just to find her driver staring at her, from the front seat of the Rolls-Royce Phantom limousine.  She wears a smile and says, “ Thank you, Ben ! ”

Later, she opens the door and clambers out of the car.  Ben hastily goes out towards Haley. 

“ Sorry, miss, ” he says while holding the door for her.  After she has safely gets her way out of the car, Ben shuts the door behind her. 

“ Robert will be picking you up here at noon. ” he notifies, “ Have a brilliant day, miss ! ”

“ Thanks, Ben.  That is so nice of you ! ”

Ben quickly drives the limousine out from the compound, leaving Haley alone.  Haley drops her beg next to her feet.  She observes the panorama of a colossal building; a castle which was once occupied by a wealthy family and now has become Haley’s new school, in front of her. Such a huge building for a school.  Haley eyes the surrounding - a group of classy girls plod their way up the steps and vanish through the massive front door; a guy reads a thick small book in his palms under a shady tree; and an old lady marches back and forth in the corridor.

Haley bends down on her knees to get to her bag pack and takes out a piece of parchment.  She carefully scans it – the map of Ravendale High School; an elite and prestigious school in the blocks.  Ravendale High is popular by its status as the most expensive school in the world, with the tuition fees reach up to USD32,000 per semester.  Hence, only the rich and famous attend this school.  

“ Just hope that you won’t get lost, Haley ! ” she tells herself, while scuffing her spiky-messy-stylish-short-jet-black hair.  “ Wish me luck !! ”  Next, she hoists her bag and takes off.

She reaches the castle steps at last and as the great oaken front door swings open, a burst of talk and laughter greet her through the door standing open into the Entrance Hall.  Haley saunters through the crowds occupying the huge hall, and as she takes left, she vanishes.
